Santa and his Elf were at TCC! On Sunday December 14, the NYC Area hosted its annual party for the adults residents of Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Center. Many of our volunteers gathered early to package presents for the residents. We then escorted our guests to the festively decorated auditorium for the party. A live band played holiday classics as well as rock and other popular tunes. During the party our volunteers served refreshments, Christmas cookies, and cake while socializing and dancing with the residents.
Santa and his Elf then made their big appearance, greeting all the residents and showing off some impressive dance moves. Santa then presented each resident with a gift and photo op. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter and the true spirit of Christmas.
