On the Feast Day of Saint Nicholas, Saturday, December 6th, Philadelphia Area Knights and Dames welcomed several guests as we gathered for our monthly First Saturday activities. Attendees began with the Salve Mass in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Father Michael Phelan, O. de M., pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Overbrook, Philadelphia, served as the celebrant of Holy Mass.

Following the liturgy, Knights and Dames convened for a business meeting to discuss emerging topics and upcoming events for the new year. Our guests joyfully joined us afterward as we prepared monthly meals for shut‑ins—this time with a festive holiday twist. In addition to the meals, each person contributed homemade cookies, allowing us to assemble a delightful cookie tray for the beloved recipients of our outreach.
