On Wednesday, January 23rd, members of the South West Connecticut Area came together to assemble Malta Walks bags for our unhoused neighbors. Each bag was thoughtfully filled with warm hats, gloves, socks, hand warmers, a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, a comb and an assortment of snacks. The bags were originally scheduled to be distributed on Sunday, January 25th but, due to the snowstorm, the Missionaries of Charity generously offered to deliver them throughout the following week, ensuring they reached those in need as quickly as possible.
A heartfelt thank you to the Missionaries of Charity and to Rosemary Degrado for running such a wonderful ministry and for graciously opening her home to make this meaningful outreach possible.
