The Southeast Florida Area gathered in prayer, fellowship, and service to honor the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick on February 11th. Knights, Dames, Candidates, and members of the Order of Malta family came together at St. Paul of the Cross, beginning the day with the Rosary at the Grotto. In this peaceful setting, members and guests entrusted to Our Lady all who are ill and all who devote themselves to their care.
The celebration continued with Mass, offered by Fr. Tom Lafreniere, Pastor, along with Fr. Dan Devore and Fr. Brian King, ChD. Following the liturgy, the Sacrament of Anointing was reverently administered, bringing comfort, strength, and grace to those in need.

The gathering concluded with a warm and gracious reception at the home of Cyrus and Mitzi, DM, Friedman, where fellowship and conversation flourished in a spirit of unity and faith. During the reception, Gail Berardino, DMOb and Director of the Holy Family Hospital of Bethlehem Foundation, shared an inspiring update on the state‑of‑the‑art maternity and neonatal critical care center serving women, infants, and children throughout the Holy Land.
We are deeply grateful for the generosity shown during this event. The funds raised will help provide essential care and support to some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in the region.
