On Saturday, March 14th, members of the New Jersey Area gathered for our annual Lenten Recollection. We started with a beautiful Mass at St. Michael RC Church in Long Branch with Fr. John Butler, ChD delivering a heartfelt homily and Fr. Alex Nevitt, ChD concelebrating.

After Mass we listened to Fr. Butler’s reflection on virtues and vices, the choices we make, and contemplate during Lent. Fr. Butler led us in Eucharistic Adoration while both chaplains heard Confessions. The morning Recollection concluded with time for fellowship over lunch and home baked goodies organized by Cheryl Marino, DM and Michael Marino, KM.
