On Palm Sunday, the Easter Bunny and volunteers from the NYC Area made an early Easter visit to the children and young adults of Mother Cabrini Specialty Hospital in East Harlem. Our volunteers prepared festive Easter bags filled with colorful eggs (each with small toys inside) and other treats for every resident. Then, led by the Easter Bunny, the volunteers gathered with a large group of the residents in the lounge area to hand out the bags, share smiles, and spend time playing together as cheerful tunes like Here Comes Peter Cottontail filled the room.

To ensure every resident could share in the joy of the day, the Easter Bunny and our volunteers made special visits to those who were unable to attend the main celebration, delivering Easter bags—and plenty of smiles—right to their rooms.

Thank you to James Palazza, YOF for once again organizing the wonderful event and to Cindy Citrone and Cynthia Germanotta for donating all the gifts. Also a big thank you to Easter Bunny Patrick Dwyer and to all our volunteers!
