What an incredible launch for our newest ministry in the NY – Westchester, Meals on Main St! On Wednesday, April 22, members of the Order of Malta from both the Westchester and CT – South West Areas came together in a powerful display of service and community, united by a shared mission to care for those most in need.

In just a few short hours, our dedicated volunteers packaged an astonishing 1,425 meals using rescued food—transforming what might have gone to waste into nourishing, ready-to-eat meals for our neighbors facing food insecurity. The energy in the room was palpable, as new and familiar faces worked side by side, embodying the Order’s commitment to serving the poor and the sick with compassion and dignity.

This launch marks more than just the beginning of a new ministry—it represents a renewed spirit of collaboration and outreach in the Westchester Area. Meals on Main St offers a meaningful and tangible way for members and volunteers to live out their faith through service, while also addressing a critical need in the local community.
