The Northeast Florida Area continued its Grant Project work by purchasing and providing food for the two Comunità Cenacolo women’s houses in St. Augustine. In addition to providing these supplies, Msgr. Morgan offered Mass in the chapel, and we shared a delicious lunch prepared by the women of the Our Lady of Hope house. Members also toured the property, visiting the livestock areas, sewing cabin, pottery buildings, woodworking workshop, and gardens.

Two women from the houses shared moving testimonies with our group, witnessing to the struggles they faced before entering Comunità Cenacolo and the grace and support they are receiving in their healing. Comunità Cenacolo opens its doors to young men and women suffering from addiction, emptiness, loneliness, and darkness. These individuals commit to three years in the community, experiencing transformation through prayer, work, and authentic friendship.

The community operates 72 houses across 20 countries and relies completely on individual donations to support and feed the hundreds of young men and women experiencing healing and God’s grace.
