Late Knight Karaoke returned to the Emerald Lounge of Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home (MMW) on August 11 for another joyful evening of music, laughter, and fellowship. Once a month, Knights, Dames, Affiliates, and Volunteers join residents, staff, and visiting friends and family members for a lively night of singing and socialization.

Classics from Frank Sinatra and ABBA always have everyone singing along. For many residents, these evenings provide not only entertainment, but also the companionship and friendship that volunteers and members of the Order offer. With the Hospitaller Flag proudly displayed, another memorable evening came to a close. Afterwards, members and volunteers enjoyed drinks and fellowship at a nearby cocktail bar.

Late Knight Karaoke continues to serve as a great introduction to hands-on service in a medical facility, offering a fun and welcoming environment for new volunteers to experience the joy of visiting and serving our elderly brothers and sisters. We look forward to gathering again next month – and every second Tuesday of each month – to continue bringing friendship and joy to the wonderful residents of Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home.
