The emerging Allentown Area had its first ever Spirituality in Action function on September 22nd. Seven members of the Area (2 Knights, 2 Candidates in their Year of Formation, 2 Auxiliary Members, and 1 teen-age family member) filled over 150 Welcome Bags for new admissions to Holy Family Manor.

The Manor is a Catholic nursing home/rehabilitation facility in the Allentown Diocese. Each of the bags proudly displayed the Order of Malta cross and contained 11 items that new patients will find useful and convenient. The Area plans to repeat this action on a quarterly basis. Additionally, during future functions, the Area will assist bring patients to and from the Manor chapel for morning Mass.
