Description

The objective of the first Dismas Home of New Hampshire is to provide a safe nurturing environment for women immediately upon their release from state prison. In addition to providing a safe place to live as they transition back to a new life outside the prison, Dismas Home of NH residents will be supported by on site professionals and a broad range of agencies and programs that can help with:

a) Managing substance abuse issues

b) Taking advantage of educational opportunities

c) Receiving counseling services

d) Preparing for and finding a job

e) Engaging with a faith community DHNH is a state licensed, 90-day, low-intensity, residential alcohol/drug rehabilitation treatment and re-entry program.

Activities Members Are Involved In

Members are involved in all aspects of running the Dismas house including serving on the board, serving meals, providing financial assistance, and transporting residents to job interviews, appointments, etc.
