Description |
The objective of the first Dismas Home of New Hampshire is to provide a safe nurturing environment for women immediately upon their release from state prison. In addition to providing a safe place to live as they transition back to a new life outside the prison, Dismas Home of NH residents will be supported by on site professionals and a broad range of agencies and programs that can help with: a) Managing substance abuse issues b) Taking advantage of educational opportunities c) Receiving counseling services d) Preparing for and finding a job e) Engaging with a faith community DHNH is a state licensed, 90-day, low-intensity, residential alcohol/drug rehabilitation treatment and re-entry program. |

Members are involved in all aspects of running the Dismas house including serving on the board, serving meals, providing financial assistance, and transporting residents to job interviews, appointments, etc. |
