Hope for Families Center

The Hope for Families Center (HFC) has an Emergency and Transitional Program to provide stability and independence for families in crisis. This shelter focuses on families exclusively by providing food and shelter, on the job training, and life skills classes, children’s programs as well as medical and dental care. Once a week, 18 members provide meals every Monday night to residents.

Hospital Call List

Approximately 12 Knights, Dames, and Auxiliary are assigned to contact members of the parish following dismissal from the hospital to see if they need an Eucharistic Minister or transportation to Church. This project originated in 2010.

Our Father’s Table Soup Kitchen

The soup kitchen serves food in the heart of the African-American community. Once a week, from January through April, 18 members provide lunch to needy members of the community.

Our Lady of Florida Women’s Retreat

Six Knights, Dames, and Auxiliary of the Area promote spiritual enrichment at this annual women’s retreat weekend that is offered to Dames of Malta and parishioners. This project originated in 2007.

Treasure Coast Mobile Food Pantry

The Food Bank alleviates hunger by obtaining and distributing food and other essentials to food deserts. 12 Knights, Dames, and Auxiliary staff mobile food pantry that travels into remote food deserts providing fresh produce, meat and chicken, breads, desserts, and canned foods to approximately 100 identified participants. This project originated in 2012.
