Description |
Nassau County Correctional Facility serves as the main prison in Nassau County, NY. It is a maximum security facility with almost 900 male and female inmates in residence. The facility is very restrictive in terms of access by outsiders. Members typically attend the weekly Mass on Saturday mornings, when four Masses are held for men and women. One of the four Masses is for Spanish speaking inmates. There is time for conversation and fellowship. |

Members distribute bilingual missalettes and other spiritual reading material for Mass. They have time for conversation and fellowship with inmates.
