Description

Several of our members have established a “sister parish” relationship with two parishes in the Dominican Republic. Our Chapter is involved only with the medical component of the project. ‘Ve conduct medical clinics for five days three times each year to a total database of 3,000 patients and treat 500-600 patients during each mission trip.

Activities Members Are Involved In

Each mission group numbers 15-20 caregivers, only 3-4 of whom are Chapter members. ‘Ve begin each day with Mass and then work until early evening at clinics in rural Guerra, inner-city Santo Domingo, and an impoverished Haitian batey, El Mamey

Estimated Number of Members Involved 4 members X 5 days X 3 trips = 60 member days
