Anti-Human Trafficking Focus

“Human trafficking is an open wound on the body of contemporary society, a scourge upon the body of Christ. It is a crime against humanity.”

—Pope Francis

Thank you for visiting the Anti-Human Trafficking focus section.  As part of our core beliefs and mission around supporting pro-life efforts, we are called upon to support and nourish the dignity of the whole life of those we are called to serve.

Sadly, millions of people fall victim to human trafficking each year which attacks our individual and shared dignity.  Human trafficking exploits young and old, men and women, and neighbors and strangers in any number of ways.  This modern form of human slavery affects countless numbers, in shadow, but is often closer than we might think (or even care to imagine).

But there is a path forward, even if our steps may seem small or few.

We invite you to explore this section thoroughly, to learn more about this important issue, our Order’s Anti-Human Trafficking focus, and how you can be a part of the effort to eliminate this terrible scourge.

Thank you for considering this important work!
