On Saturday, March 25th, members and Auxiliary of the New Jersey Area volunteered to do some outdoor cleaning and landscaping of the grounds of the Mercy House in Jersey City.

The Mercy House is one of the ministries of the Respect Life Office of the Archdiocese of Newark, which provides food, clothes, household accessories, and spiritual help to those in need. The Mercy House in Jersey City is also a 40 bedroom residential home for women in need of a helping hand.

The Auxiliary maintains regular contact with the Respect Life Office and will volunteer with the Mercy House in the future, especially as they aim to open more locations within the Archdiocese.
