About Our Retreat Master:

Monsignor James P. Moroney, a priest of the Diocese of Worcester for the past 43 years, is pastor of Saint Cecilia Parish in Leominster.

Former Rector of Saint John’s Seminary in Boston, longtime Executive Director of the USCCB Secretariat for the Liturgy and Consultor to the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments in Rome, he has led retreats and scholarly conferences for more than 20,000 priests and deacons around the world.

A third edition of his book The Mass Explained will be available from Catholic Book Publishing this spring.
