On Sunday, June 23, members of the New Jersey Area gathered at the Church of St. Catharine, Spring Lake to celebrate a Mass for the Vigil of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, Patron of the Order of Malta. We were blessed to welcome His Eminence, Joseph Cardinal Tobin, CSsR, Archbishop of Newark, as our main celebrant and homilist.

A dinner reception at the Spring Lake Country Club was held after Mass, during which new members undergoing their Year of Formation were acknowledged and members celebrating major anniversaries with the Order were celebrated. We extend our thanks to Cardinal Tobin for taking time out of his busy schedule to celebrate our Patronal Feast with us.
