On a cold February 19th, members of the NYC Area, along with their Auxiliary and friends, gathered at St. Patrick’s Cathedral to prepare and distribute essential items to the poor and sick in midtown Manhattan. After a collective prayer, the volunteers assembled more than 75 Malta Bags filled with warm socks, gloves, hats, food, Dunkin’ gift cards, and prayer cards. They then ventured into the chilly streets of Midtown Manhattan to distribute these packages to those in need. Following their charitable efforts, the group convened at a local cocktail lounge to share stories over a drink and conversation.
