Northeast Florida Area Spends Week Serving Those in Need

08/21/2025

It has been a very busy week for our small but mighty Area, with four activities taking place.

At the Women’s Help Center, we delivered car seats purchased with grant funds to this amazing pregnancy crisis center. Car seats are often one of the first essential items new mothers need to bring their babies home safely. These incredible seats are designed to accommodate a newborn, toddler, and preschooler, allowing the child to be protected for many years.

Our hardworking team also attended Mass at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, ate breakfast, and then cooked and served a meal to the hungry and homeless at Sulzbacher. We were delighted to have Deacon Justino join us for the day’s work.

Members also attended the funeral Mass, reception, and burial of Kathy Weedon, DM of the Federal Association.

The Williston Food Pantry, at Holy Family parish in Williston, FL was restocked this week.  Our incredible group used grant funds to purchase non perishable food for the pantry.  This hard working team delivered many cans of food under the direction of Father Anthony and his parishioners.  Mass was celebrated by Father Anthony after this corporal work of mercy.

Thank you to all for your continued support of those in need!
