On Sunday August 17th, Knights and Dames in New Jersey served dinner to clients at The Center in Asbury Park. A hot meal of chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans was enjoyed by all. We thought it would be great to highlight how one of our Local Area Project Support Grants has been put to use at The Center.

The passthrough dishwasher took two years of regular grant monies in 2020-2021 to address this equipment need. Last year, we provided Area supplemental grants to fund their new dining room/kitchen washer-dryer stack and provided two new laptops for client use in their common room. It is wonderful to see how not only our time and talent helps our communities but that our grant money gets used in so many helpful ways.
