On Saturday, October 11th, five members from the New Jersey Area led a resume writing workshop for twelve local community participants at Mary’s Hands in Morristown, NJ. This initiative was part of the newly established ESL ministry in New Jersey, which offers monthly sessions in the fall, resuming again in the spring, supporting facilitators in engaging students in English conversation.

The workshop was an enrichment effort developed under the leadership of Gib Delacruz, KM, in collaboration with Teresa Prendergast, Director of Client Services at Mary’s Hands. The session was led by professional recruiter Cyndy Fuhro, DM, with support from Brian Fuhro, Esq., KM, Dr. Carol Zimmerman, DM, Paul Silva, KM, and Mr. Delacruz.

In addition to the workshop, the director and staff of Mary’s Hands provided an overview of the comprehensive services offered to Morristown residents in need. Since its founding in 2019, Mary’s Hands—an outreach program under Catholic Family and Community Services—has been a source of warmth and compassion for families, including first-time mothers and newcomers to the area.
