On Wednesday, October 15, the South West Connecticut Area’s Prison Ministry Pen Pal group gathered for an evening of fellowship and service, focused on writing letters to individuals awaiting sentencing. This population often faces significant challenges, including addiction, alcoholism, and limited access to education.

Each letter included an inspirational quote from a selected book, and thanks to Kristy Snyder’s coordination, copies of these books were ordered through Amazon to accompany the messages. Brian, a longtime Pen Pal friend who was formerly incarcerated and now works with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, will personally deliver the cards and books.

These heartfelt letters and books serve as powerful reminders of hope and encouragement for those enduring a difficult chapter in their lives. The ministry invites continued prayers for all those impacted.
