On June 4th, the Malta House Heart to Table Ministry celebrated the conclusion of its inaugural year with a festive summer BBQ. Residents and volunteers gathered to enjoy a delicious meal featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, watermelon, ice cream sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies.

the evening was filled with joy, laughter, and fellowship as everyone reflected on the friendships and community that have been built around the table throughout the year. Music added to the festive atmosphere, and before long, guests were on their feet enjoying some lively line dancing.

The Heart to Table BBQ was a wonderful reminder of the ministry’s mission: bring people together through shared meals, meaningful conversations and genuine companionship. The success of this first year is a testament to the dedication of the volunteers and the warm spirit of the Malta House community. We look forward to many more years of fellowship and friendship around the table.
