Welcome to the Michigan area website. Michigan is one of 30 Areas of the Order of Malta, American Association USA.

While our members primarily reside in the Archdiocese of Detroit, we are endeavoring to expand into other dioceses throughout the state. We are committed in today’s world to be true to the Order’s mission. Our members volunteer to care for the sick and the poor in their communities. We also support charitable projects in other areas of the United States. In witness to the Catholic faith, we participate in a variety of special Masses, retreats and seminars throughout the year. Active defense of the Faith as defined by the Magisterial teachings of the Church is paramount to our identity as members of the Order.
