Support Pierre Ferragu, KM and friends in their monthly mission to serve the sick and the poor on the streets of NYC by preparing food and delivering it to St. Francis of Assisi.
Plan:
– Meet at 420 West 14th Street at 5:30pm to begin lunch bag preparation.
– Prepare lunch bags – sandwiches, chips, snack, juice pack. In addition, we will distribute soup, coffee, water and other supplies (blankets, clothes, etc). Supplies will be provided. If you have extra clothes/supplies lying around, please feel free to bring them, though you’re certainly not required!
– Wrap up preparation by 6:45-7pm and head over to the St Francis of Assisi Church where many homeless congregate (135 W 31st St) to begin distribution ~7:30pm.
By 7:45-8pm, we’ll move over to Penn Station (31st St. between 7th and 8th) to continue distribution, and wrap up the night by 9pm.
Who can come:
– Open to all, including family and friends (just please limit children to 5 years and older)
