Description

The kitchen, operated by the Divine Providence Sisters, answers the call to feed the hungry by currently serving 300-350 hot lunches in a Houston city neighborhood to hungry men, women, and children five days a week, 50 weeks per year.

Activities Members Are Involved In

Members help to prepare food for the day, as well as prep food for following days as needed. In addition they serve the meals during a one hour lunch time and clean up kitchen for next day’s crew. Time allotment is 5 hours: 8 am- 1pm.
