The opportunity is to facilitate a prayer and discussion meeting with incarcerated men. The meetings are held every Tuesday evening. Attending 1 to 4 meetings a month is encouraged. The average volunteer attendance is twice monthly, as personal time allows.

Activities Members Are Involved In

Volunteers arrive at the prison at 6 pm. Entry is usually about 6:15. The meetings are held in the Chapel. Each session is broken down to four sections:

a. General catch-up.

b. Praying the rosary

c. Reading from current spiritual book (previous books include “A Life of a Saint” or “The Reflections of Fr. Gobe” a South American Priest).

d. Each person reads. As the reading moves in a circle, we reflect on what moved us.
