The American Association Founded in 1927 as the first association of the Order of Malta in the Americas, the association is headquartered in New York City with over 2,000 Knights, Dames and volunteers in over 30 Areas working with the poor, sick, and incarcerated and giving witness to the Catholic faith.

Pilgrimage for Life 2016
The 2016 Pilgrimage for Life was scheduled to take place on January 21-22, 2016. Unfortunately, Washington, D.C., was blanketed with snow which caused the government officials to cancel all parade permits and in essence, Washington shut down. All offices were closed and cancelled and the 2016 March for Life did not take place.
