On Saturday, February 10th, Illinois Area Knights and Dames convened at Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Mary’s Home for a Mass and Anointing of the Sick in observance of the World Day of the Sick and Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Msgr. Robert Dempsey, Principal Chaplain of the Illinois Area of the Order of Malta, was homilist and celebrant.

 

 

Following the Mass, Knights, Dames and their families joined the residents for lunch and were so pleased and honored to be among the residents of the Home, and among the Little Sisters themselves, who dedicate their lives to serving the elderly poor.
