The American Association’s Philadelphia Area participated in the third annual solemn high Mass according to Divine Worship: the form of the liturgy used by the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. (aka Anglican Ordinariate)

This year’s event celebrated St. John Henry Newman, two days after his canonization in Rome.

James Griffin, KM is the Precentor of the Schola Cantorum Philadelphiensis that sung the minor Propers in plainchant. Mr. Griffin also chanted the first reading. John Boyden, AUX was the Thurifer, Dr. George Isajiw, KM and Mark Kelly, KM the Area Hospitaller, attended with other members of religious orders and clergy in the choir.

The celebrant and homilist was the Very Reverend Timothy Perkins, Vicar General of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.
