The Michigan Area had their second in-person gathering since the COVID-19 outbreak. Following up our Mass & Reception for the Feast of St. John the Baptist on June 28th, we held our annual Lourdes Celebration on the Vigil of the Assumption on August 14th.

Mass was celebrated by Most Reverend Allen H Vigneron, ChC, and concelebrated by Monsignor Michael LeFevre, ChM. It was a beautiful Mass that was livestreamed for those who could not attend. We had 41 members, auxiliary, candidates in formation, and past malades in attendance.

Following the Mass, guests gathered for an outdoor reception in accordance with Michigan’s coronavirus regulations. We enjoyed a light supper while listening to testimonials from our malades and members on their past Lourdes experiences, along with an uplifting reflection by Archbishop Vigneron.
