This year’s World Day of the Poor is November 14, 2021, and Pope Francis is calling us all to a grace-filled opportunity to answer the cry of the poor in both prayer and in action. The food insecurity in the Connecticut – SWN Area has increased exponentially.

Please help us feed the hungry in our area this Thanksgiving season. Your tax-deductible donation will be used to relieve hunger for local families who are directly impacted by food insecurity. Hard times and the COVID-19 pandemic have impacted many of our neighbors, children included, in our diocese who go without the basic need of food on a daily basis.

This year, funds raised through the Thanksgiving Fund Drive will go directly to families in a small group of the inner city parishes in our diocese who are most in need.
