On Saturday, April 2nd, members in the Missouri Area gathered at Immacolata Catholic Church for a Lenten Mass and Morning of Reflection, followed by a light lunch. Mass was concelebrated by Rev. Msgr. Vernon Gardin, ChM, Missouri Area chaplain pictured left, and Fr. Andrew Auer, pictured right, who also offered reflections in the program that followed it.
Fr. Auer invited all to consider their place in salvation history and to recognize that we are not victims of circumstance, as we are often tempted to believe, but instead free agents who are invited by Christ to participate in our own redemption and in the salvation of the world. All were moved by his dynamic presentation and his clear and challenging message.
