On Sunday, April 3rd, the New Jersey Area sponsored a lecture on the “Life and Impact of Archbishop Fulton Sheen”, presented by Msgr. Hilary Franco.
Msgr. Franco was the former secretary and advisor to Archbishop Fulton Sheen and currently serves as advisor at the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations. He is also the author of two books: Six Popes: A Son of the Church Remembers and Bishop Fulton J. Sheen: Mentor and Friend.
He presented a talk and reflection on the life and gift of Archbishop’s Sheen’s legacy to the American Catholic Church. There were over 90 people in attendance at this event, which was held at St. Thomas More Church in Convent Station, Morristown Township, New Jersey.
