The Connecticut – SWN Area celebrated their annual Mass honoring the Feast of St. John the Baptist on Friday, June 24th at St. Pius X Parish in Fairfield, CT.

Fr Mike Jones, ChM was the celebrant and he was assisted by Dcn. Patrick Toole, ChDD. During the Mass, 10 Members who recently completed the Connecticut Area’s Eucharistic Ministry Training were commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and will now participate in the CT Area’s Eucharistic Ministry Hospitaller work of serving the sick in 14 local hospitals and nursing homes. More than 50 members attended the Mass and cocktail celebration afterward.
