From Steve Hawkins, KM
The Pen Pal Program continues to provide a desperately needed connection with Christ and the outside world for so many of our brothers and sisters who are serving time inside the walls. While you and I are returning to a new normal everyday life freer of restrictions, those inside still suffer from severe isolation and loneliness.
Each week, we receive new applications from men and women anxious for confirmation that they haven’t been forgotten or abandoned. Just days ago, we heard the words of Dismas “Lord, remember me…” . While we are Christ’s workers here on earth, let us assure those inside the walls that they are not forgotten. It only requires a few minutes of your time each month to make a difference in the life of those we serve. Won’t you join us?
