On Saturday, February 11th, members of the NYC Area and of the Subpriory of Our Lady of Lourdes gathered for Mass at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in honor of the Feast Day of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick.

Mass was celebrated by Fr. Joseph Cavoto, OFM, a Magistral Chaplain of our Order, and included an Anointing of the Sick. In attendance on the altar were Frà Richard Wolff, member of the Sovereign Council; Frà Nicola Tegoni, Regent of the Subpriory; and Dr. Saad Habba, GCMOb, Chancellor of the Subpriory.

As has become a tradition for our Masses at St. Francis, Mass concluded with a candlelight procession to the altar shrine to Our Lady, where the Our Lady of Lourdes Litany was prayed and the Salve Regina was sung. Mass was attended by more than 50 Knights and Dames, Auxiliary and candidates in their Year of Formation, as well as family and friends and congregants of St. Francis of Assisi.
