On Tuesday, February 7th, the US Virgin Islands Area hosted its 5th Annual Lourdes in a Day for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick. Members, friends, and family gathered at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for Adoration, the Rosary, Confessions, Benediction, Holy Mass, Anointing of the Sick, and distribution of Lourdes holy water.
Mass was celebrated by the Most Rev. Jerome Feudjio, Bishop of St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands and Chaplain of the Order of Malta, American Association. Rev. John Mark, Pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, joined this Mass as the concelebrant. Mass was for the intention of the Most Rev. Herbert Bevard, former Bishop of St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands and Chaplain Emeritus of the Order of Malta, American Association.
Following Mass, guests gathered in the Church’s Recreation Hall for lunch.
