The Connecticut – Southern, Western, & Northern Area kicked off Lent with a wonderful Morning of Recollection at St. Pius X Parish on Saturday, February 25th. The event featured an amazing Homily on the importance of keeping sabbath time in our busy lives to allow us to reflect and listen to God. Immediately following Mass, we had community, coffee, and a beautiful reflection by Fr. Kevin O’Brien, S.J.

Fr. O’Brien is the author of the award-winning book, The Ignatian Adventure: Experiencing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in Daily Life (Loyola Press, 2011). The book has sold over 60,000 copies and has been translated into three languages. His follow-up book, Seeing with the Heart: A Guide to Navigating Life’s Adventures, was just published in January 2023.
