On Holy Thursday, over 25 members of the Connecticut – Southern, Western, & Northern Area were blessed to participate in the Chrism Mass celebrated by Bishop Frank J. Caggiano at St. Augustine Cathedral in Bridgeport.

The Chrism Mass, which the Bishop concelebrates with priests from churches in the diocese, is one where he consecrates the sacred Chrism and blesses the holy oils used for sacraments. It was a beautiful Mass filled with angelic music where we were surrounded by all of our priests, seminarians, deacons and religious sisters of the diocese of Bridgeport. A perfect way to start Holy Thursday and prepare for the Easter Triduum.
