Philadelphia area members of the Order of Malta were doubly busy on Saturday, November 4th! They joined members for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the chapel of the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated by Father Bochanski, Curia of the Archdiocese. Then they assembled their traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey and all the fixin’s. They also joined members of the Federal Association, and Catholic Social Services, and Saint John’s Hospice for Boot Up Philly, an annual event for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. They were very humbled to distribute more than 750 coats, socks, hats, gloves, and scarves to those in need. They were blessed to serve so many of their homeless brothers and sisters, and pray that our Lord bless them with warmth and love during this upcoming cold season.
