On Sunday, November 26th, the last Sunday of the Church’s liturgical year and the Feast of Christ the King, members of the NYC Area participated in a Mass at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer, celebrated by Bishop Gerardo Colacicco. Mass was followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and a Eucharistic Procession from St. Vincent’s on East 66th Street (and Lexington Ave) to the Cathedral of St. Patrick at East 51st Street (and Fifth Avenue).To mark the beginning of the new liturgical year, the NYC Area’s  regular First Monday Mass was enriched by the inclusion of an Advent Reflection from our chaplain Bishop Edmund Whalen. As part of his reflection, Bishop Whalen drew on the examples of 3 saints whose feast days we celebrate in December: St. Francis Xavier (12/3). St. John of Damascus (12/4), and Blessed Adolph Kolping (12/10).
