CT-SWN is thrilled to announce that we received over $12,000 in donations for the World Day of the Poor. The incredible generosity of local Knights, Dames and Affiliates in the Area enabled us to distribute checks and gift cards to many parishes to help their parishioners. Thanks to this support, we help feed those who need it most during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. Donations were made to the following parishes: St. Ann Parish in Bridgeport, St. Charles Borromeo in Bridgeport, St. Mary Stamford in Stamford, St. Joseph St. Ladislaus in Norwalk, Blessed Sacrament in Bridgeport, St. Mary Bridgeport in Bridgeport and Our Lady of Fatima Food Pantry in Bridgeport. Special thank you to Kelly Anne and Dan Murphy for leading this fundraiser that helps so many in the areas of greatest need.
