We are thrilled to share that on Saturday, December 16th, our amazing CT-SWN Volunteers spread Christmas cheer at the NEW Thomas Merton Center in Bridgeport. The morning was full of joy and warmth as many of our volunteers played the role of Santa’s elves, making a gourmet breakfast of eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, and kielbasa. The meal was complete with hot cocoa and whipped cream for all the guests. 

But the Christmas spirit didn’t end there. After breakfast, each guest was given a Christmas gift in a beautifully decorated bag from St. Mary Parish families in Ridgefield. The smiles on the faces of the guests were priceless, and it was a happy morning for all. We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful volunteers for their hard work and dedication in making this event such a success and a memorable one for everyone at the Thomas Merton Center!
