On Sunday, April 14, members of the New Jersey Area gathered for Mass at the Church of St. James in Basking Ridge to pray for our Malades and pilgrims going to the 2024 Lourdes Pilgrimage. Mass was celebrated by Msgr. William Fadrowski, ChM, and we were also pleased to have New Jersey’s Fra’ Richard Wolff of the Sovereign Council join us as well.
After Mass, all were invited to a luncheon at the Basking Ridge Country Club. Members of the pilgrimage team spoke about what to expect in Lourdes, including accommodations and medical expectations. Malades and Caregivers from last year’s pilgrimage were invited to speak about their experience and Robert Preston, KM, gave a stirring witness about what Lourdes means to him as a member of the Order of Malta.
We pray for a safe and healthy pilgrimage for all going to Lourdes, and that our Malades and Caregivers experience the grace and peace they are seeking as we serve them.
