On Sunday, April 12th the New Jersey Area held their Lourdes Pilgrimage Send-Off Mass and Luncheon. The Mass was held in the Chapel at St. James Church in Basking Ridge, NJ and was celebrated by Msgr. Sylvester Cronin, ChM with a wonderful homily delivered by Msgr. William Fadrowski, ChM. We were honored to also have Fra’ Richard Wolff join us.

Following Mass, we gathered at Basking Ridge Country Club for a lovely luncheon and informative discussions about the Pilgrimage. A Malade and Caregiver from the 2025 Pilgrimage gave insightful, heartfelt speeches sharing their experiences in Lourdes and the lasting impact it had on them. Event hosts Cyndy and Brian Fuhro shared many helpful tips and useful information for the Pilgrimage.

This was the first year in memory that Dr. Tony Gagliardi was not present to provide his medical perspective and practical suggestions to new pilgrims. Cyndy raised a good laugh from the audience when she stated she is not a doctor but would try her best to fill in for the Medical Director! Everyone left the event inspired and excited about the imminent Pilgrimage.
