On May 2nd, spring was in the air as Knights, Dames, Affiliates, and volunteers gathered to bring some warmth and cheer at the first Saturday Sing-a-Long at Mother Cabrini Specialty Hospital.
The joyful group of twenty-one-plus volunteers were accompanied by high school seniors from Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, NY who gladly gave their time to help those in need. It was a day full of many smiles, laughter, and of course singing. Everyone had a wonderful time wearing festive hats, enjoying the spring views of Central Park, and sharing their gift of music with the community.
Our First Saturday Sing-a-Long means a lot to the young residents of Mother Cabrini who enjoy the company of our volunteers while enjoying the healing power of music. Join us for our next first Saturday Sing-a-Long on June 6th.
