Philadelphia Area Gathers for Mass, Fellowship, and Service

06/09/2026

On Saturday, June 6, members of the Philadelphia Area came together for their monthly meeting and service project, beginning with Holy Mass on the feast of St. Norbert at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Overbrook. The Mass was celebrated by Father Doug Ray, S.J., who graciously served as celebrant in the absence of the parish priests.

Following the liturgy, Knights and Dames gathered at Ivy Hall, the headquarters of the International Institute for Culture, where they warmly welcomed those who had recently returned from the Lourdes pilgrimage. The morning was enriched by the presence of several guests, including a caregiver-pilgrim who shared moving reflections from his experience in Lourdes, offering a meaningful perspective that resonated deeply with those present.

After breakfast and a brief business meeting, the group turned to their monthly service project, preparing meals for those who are homebound. Additional guests joined in this effort, bringing energy and generosity as they participated firsthand in the Order’s works of mercy at the local level.
