On Saturday, August 1, members and friends of the Order joined lead volunteer Tom Slanover, KM, at the Life Center in Hempstead for a morning of service supporting local mothers and children.

Volunteers sorted and organized donated clothing and diapers, labeled supplies, filed client records, and assisted with other tasks to help the center operate efficiently. As Tom reported, the group “unpacked, sorted and labeled diapers” and organized clothing donations, while also helping with filing and general housekeeping.

The project reflects the Long Island Area’s ongoing commitment to serving those in need through hands-on volunteer efforts that provide practical support to local families.
